It's no secret that Hyatt hotels is THE sweet spot in the points and miles world. The main reason for this is you can always expect to get at least 2x your points value when you book a hotel after transferring the points (don't book in the portal unless it's magically lower in points per night).
Chase bank is the only one that has Hyatt as a transfer partner which is why all of their flexible use cards are favorites of mine.
Here's the list of cards and then I'll show you how to make the transfer:
Personal cards-can only hold one every 4 years. I recommend the Preferred over the Reserve and instead recommend the Capital One Venture X for the similar benefits to the Reserve.
(Open these cards in a separate browser if you arrived here from instagram)
Business cards-you can hold each of these cards for each business.
You need to hold the Sapphire Preferred or Reserve or the Ink Preferred in order to have the ability to transfer to the partners like Hyatt. So you always will be paying one annual fee for this option.
The other two Ink Business cards are marketed as cash back, but you will be awarded with that as points after meeting the minimum spends. Then you will need to combine them with one of the 3 cards I just named to transfer to partners. I'll show you how to do that below.
How To Transfer the Points
When you are in the Chase account-click on the card with your points you want to combine or transfer.
If you need to combine your points, you will click on Rewards Details and find that option in the dropdown box as seen below.

If you are ready to transfer the points to partners, click the Travel button and you'll find the option to Transfer points to partners there.

Then the list of partners will show up, including Hyatt at the very bottom. You'll follow the steps from there to get your points transferred over. Remember only to transfer points when you are ready to book as you can not transfer them back into Chase once you move them out.

You'll see the process is pretty simple once you start doing it yourself! Feel free to email me or dm on instagram for any questions you have.-Stacy
